Liking the Avi Turfy. Hi V, SH, EQ how are you all?
Another busy and exceedingly expensive week draws to a close. On the parental front I'm going down at the beginning of March subject to the weather. I asked them if they wanted me to do some batch cooking for the freezer, which was a yes, so at least I can break the costs down over a few weeks. Had my Asda order this week, spent £112 on what seems not very much. Have a voucher for Sainsburys for £4 off a £40 spend so may do thay on Wednesday.
Had a marathon badminton session as only 5 people including us turned up, so well knackered by the end of it. My glowing cheeks could be spotted from outer space. Did have one of my shots called pure genius, not bad for a big bird!!!!
Work is really busy as the computer system crashed at the beginning of the week. Its been rebuilt now, but loads of stuff needs sorting out. The other girl is on leave from yesterday so got loads to do. Only just finished the bank rec today. Have had loads of dealings with the insurance brokers at the mo as one of our sites got broken in last night. Sigh, more forms, luckily or unluckily, depends how you look at it the boss is away, so we are getting it sorted!!
My course this week was okaaay a bit boring as we were having to do manual bookwork as well as Sage, so a lot of it went over my head but I need to know it to pass the module.
The expensive stuff was the car. As I rabbitted away in previous posts I had planned to get the cars braking system looked at. Well the chap mended that, brakes, calipers, drums, discs etc and also 2 springs and we put 2 new tyres on. Not finished adding it all up yet but know its in the region of £500. Next month exhaust and service, month after MOT and pray the ruddy thing passes its test.
Tonight I've made 8 banana bread and got another 8 to make tomorrow, some of these will go with me to the fossils when I go down. Got to take DS1 to college on Sunday as he has a block week, I'm off on Tuesday, finishing early on Wednesday to take the chaps to the pics to see Puss in Boots and OH is off on Friday. Phew wish me luck.
Got to allocate this weeks wages to their slots and then up date the siggy. Banana bread anybody?

Hi Lucielle
I'm back and reporting for stalking duties. I will be loitering in various corners of your diary from now on, probably permanently as I cannot get round to writing my own....
Am also available for eating banana bread, love it!

Butter please if it's not too much trouble! I'm supposed to be losing weight, now I'm thinking about banana bread...
Actually I've been on diet about 30 years or so, I've probably lost about 30 stone and put on 32...All told I'm not very good at dieting.

Made another 9 banana breads this morning, don't think I want to see another banana for a while. Just been out in the garden with all the chaps, DS1 trimmed the hedge that I was going to do last weekend. Built a big bonfire with all the clippings, sadly its decided not to light.
Going to set myself a mini challenge of raising £200 through ebay. I want some weed matting that's hundred and I need to revamp the chicken pen which for some good wood will probably be another hundred. OH has agreed to help me with the work.
Only paying £800 per month off the debts this has really dropped as previously its been iin the region of £1110. I was looking at some of OHs wages slips from previous years and compared to this time his wage has dropped by 5k. I'm so pleased we're getting near to the end of the journey otherwise we were up that creek. I don't want to lose any focus but it is really hard still trying to budget, which I still feel I haven't developed the necessary skills to do. I know what needs to go where but usually run out of money. Speaking of which off to move some around.

I think £200 on eBay is a great challenge. I'm really interested to see how you get on. My bits and pieces seem to either miss the mark and not sell or go for a pound or so if I'm lucky. Then there is the packaging... How I hate parceling things up!
Any more banana bread?
