Suit purchased and decided he can have it as part of his Christmas presents, but there won't be much else to go with it. Went and did a Tesco shop while we were out and spent £202. This has gone on the cc, it's been ages since I did a big shop but didn't manage to get everything. Did manage 3 packs of beers, not going to drink as much as last weekend!
Went on my course this afternoon but my head was ready to pop off my shoulders as it had too much going round. Made a vile spag bol for tea using fake mince, which really doesn't agree with me. Still the dog enjoyed it.
Having car probs at the mo. Can't open the boot with the buttons or the key. Can't lock the car with the buttons or key, but the alarm still goes off when you open the door. Answers on a postcard. Think it may be the battery.

Enjoy the peace and quiet Lucielle.
Getting cold now isn't it. Wrap up well when you do your logging and don't do too much. How is your back?"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis

Back has been ok, EQ. Log splitter decided it still wasn't going to work so OH is going to take into the ICU (aka workshop) and see if he can give it some CPR and get it going again. OH drove the chainsaw and I was responsible for the filling and emptying of the wheel barrow.
Feel like I've been stuck in widow Twanky mode, as the amount of washing I've done today was phenonimal (sp). Most of it has been dried on the line so feelng good about that. Had DS' pup out with us and she was so cute bounding about and running off with twigs and annoying the resident house dog.

At least you have them chopped Lucielle.
Hopefully hubby will work his magic .... great to be able to work with your hands. My hubby isn't like that but I have a son that is and its brilliant. Everything that needs built from flatback etc...the lad does it. Thank goodness someone else forby me is fit to do it.
I know what you mean about washing. I am sick of it too. Clothes not drying very well inside at the moment. Takes so much longer and I am trying to avoid the dreaded TD for as long as possible.:)
Weather here has been ridiculous. Constant rain for days. Supposedly its going to change today so you never know I might get something on the line.
Take care L:)"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis

Sunday saw us depositing DS1 at college, felt quite sorry for him as he was the only one there at that time. He sounded ok on Monday morning and even better Monday evening. However I'm a bit annoyed with him, he needs collecting today and some of the other chaps on his course live nearer to us and it would make our lives a bit easier if he could've asked for a lift. When OH phoned him last night he had made no effort and would ring today. It not as if its a couple of mins down the road its 2 hours each way! Also OH would have to shut the workshop earlier to go and get him, honestly I'm sure he's got blinkers on and sees the world only from his point of his view. I think he'll have to be introduced to the train and that might motivate him into gettin his act together.
OH took a days leave yesterday to spend it with the chaps. I've still got my Tesco deal from when I applied for tickets to go to the Jorvick and they didn't arrive in time, so I checked on the net ad they were valid for the Blue Reef Aquarium so OH took them there. He arrived to find they didn't accept them and when I checked it was the Blue Reef at Liverpool, OOps. He took them to crazy golf instead which was cheap but ended up with a parking ticket, so £25 to find.
I'm off tomorrow but got to take the chaps to the dentist in the morning, will probably take them swimming afterwards. I still need to get my central locking sorted out as a new battery didn't cure it. Hoping its not going to be too expensive. I sorted out all my recipies last night, as every time I opened the microwave they all cascaded down, so finally bit the bullet and now have them all filed neatly. Struggling to write a newsletter for the business I get so far and then hit a brain fug and OH seems to be suffering with the same thing.

Hi Lu
your life sounds hectic as ever - probably not surprising the brain fog rolls in occasionally. Still you always seem to me to get so much done. Hope your DS does get his act together with regards to lifts and the solution to your central locking problem isn't too expensiveAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I think DS1 has got it sorted and it means that OH doesn't have to close as early. Also made an appointment to see the physio in November.
