    Busy, busy, busy.

Following on from Mary Portas, I was talking to my sister who went to the opening and maybe on the tele box next week (she's hoping not). She won a competition to be personally styled by Mary herself!!!!!!!!! So very excited for her.

Day off today but going back to work for a rest! Took DS1 to work, as the bike didn't have any lights on it (note past tense). Got the accounts up to date, called in at local village and paid the last invoice for the work done on the tele box.

Went into slightly larger town and got my tyre repaired, it had a nail in it, left DS1s bike to get lights put on and they pointed out that it needed new brakes on as well, so asked them to do that and left it with them. Did some jobs in town, managed to get some kilner jars from Wilkos for the Sloe Gin to get started. Got 3 torches for the chaps as they need them for a Scout event at the weekend. Got another sack of turkey pellets and then went to computer course. Got chatting to a lady and told her about DS2s turkeys and she ordered one, told him I want commission. Course finished, collected bike and then had to collect DD2. She'd been on a trip to the ballet but was late getting home, so late that I didn't manage to get DS2 to football.

I need to get some oil for the car tomorrow and I think there's some screenwash at the workshop. Got to take DS1 to Penrith on Monday, hopefully got a friend coming with me then we can have a play.

    Morning Lucielle
Have just typed a message and lost it all because I wasn't logged in GGGGGGGGrRRRRRRR:)

I love MP too she is so down to earth and straight to the point. Super long legs too of which I can only dream..:):):) Well done to your sister winning the prize. I would love that.

One turkey booked ... then the fun of cleaning them out. Hard job but he will make a few quid out of them. Best turkey is straight from a small farm. You certainly have your hands full running after everyone. There is always someone to be picked up etc. Know the feeling. Thats what happens when you live in a rural area with non existent public transport.

    What about your back today?
    Take care

Back has been ok (touching wood). Sold another one this morning, going to up my commission rate! Certainly busy, was really looking forward to next weekend when OH is off for the full weekend and can go and do family things. Then realised that 3 of them are away on a Scout camp! Ahh well. I'm trying to get a couple of days away in Lancashire to go and see my mum.

HI Lucielle - hope you manage to get the time away and recharge your batteries. I'm afraid I tend to secretly celebrate when the kids are away as I get some more "me" time and "partner time" back which I think is healthy.

Didn't do very much at the weekend (drank a bit too much) so Sunday was very quiet. Chaps had a good time on their twilight expedition and have got some very fine blisters after being on the go from 7.30-10.30.

Took DS1 to college yesterday and a friend came along for the ride. Shattered by the time I got home. Got a few bits and bobs for that time of year but was disappointed as n othing jumped out at me. In other good news it looks like he should get his accommodation free next week. Just his food to pay for.

    Morning Lucielle

Glad you had a few drinks and relaxed. Doesn't do any harm now and again :) How is our back?

At least next week your son only needs the money for food. Good fun keeping up with them isn't it. Hard to believe how close Christmas is!! Ah it will soon be over. I love Christmas eve and up to pray on Christmas morning. Then its officially over for me :):) Feel like ripping the decorations down after that :):)

Whats the weather like with you Lucielle. It is terrible here, fields flooded roads full of water and it shows no sign of stopping.

    Take care

Very windy here, not much in the rain department. Work was ok, lots of phone calls and a couple of problems sorted, or set in motion to be sorted. Went round to a work colleagues house after I'd finished as she's just moved and finished decorating. The house looked lovely and she's worked really hard. Really want to move myself now.

Got in from work to find DS2 with a huge lump on his collar bone and in considerable pain. Decided to take him to A&E. Luckily we weren't in very long and after being X-rayed he's ok, though the nurse was suprised as she thought he'd popped it. DS2 was relieved as he's got camp this weekend. Just need to give him some pain killers when he gets home.

DS1 annouced that he needs a suit for Friday night as he's got a Young Farmers Ball. So tomorrow night quick finish and dive down to Matalan to see what he can find. This will be funded by the bank of mum and paid back on his payday.
