Thanks Red what more could a girl ask for. VAT return submitted, 2 meringues made, DD2 back, loan child returned, DS1 playing with sheep, OH cooked fab lunch and Bond on the tele box.

Plans for 2011 are the usual:
    debt free
    lose weight
    more exercise
make sure OH doesn't get too worn out
save for DS1s college fees (fingers crossed he gets the grades)

Probably got a million and one other things to go on.

Good morning on this first new day of a brand spanking new year. Didn't stay up to see it in, it just doesn't float my boat and I can't get excited about it, but that's just me. Off to friends house today for a couple of drinks and nibbles. OH is back at work tonight, lots of sighing going on and mutterings about hating job. I'm back to work on Tuesday as the sproglets go back to school then.

Think I'll start taking some of the decorations down and then I might stand a chance of keeping on top of the house work (hysterical laughter). Chaps need to write their thankyou letters and I have a sneaking feeling some homework needs to be done.

Feeling quite smug, had tp drop DS2 off at a frineds and called in at the Co-op on tne way and managed to get:
pork loin steaks reduced to £1.75 (bought 2 packs)
chicken breasts reduced to 0.95 (2 in a pack and bought 3 packs)
    xl boned pork leg £3.15
    bacon chops 0.99
    dishwasher rinse aid £1.61

So lots of billy bob bargains. Managed to get the tree and decorations down. Given the living room a really good blitz, it could really do with decorating (in fact the whole place could) but hopefully this might be the year we find a house and that bit closer to having no debt burden.

Last day of freedom for me (OH has gone to work), got rudely awakened by the dog at 4.40 this morning, OH let her out and she bu&&ered off. Not impressed. Just getting into the car to go and look for when she reappeared. Dog is now trying to creep round me.

Hoping to have a quick whizz round and get cleaned up, need to have an office day but not sure today is going to be it. I need to dust off the fat class books and get my head back in the zone. Not sure if the class is on tonight but I think I'll go next week.

DS1 has gone beating and DS2 had a sleepover at a friends. Hoping to bob into the co-op and see if I can get anymore billy bob bargains.
