Touch wood everything seems to be working now. Sat in bed with lappy on = bliss. Off to town today as DS1 has got the dentists and he needs some new school shoes. He's off to the hunt ball tonight and sleeping over at a friends. Whilst we are in town we're going to change his account so he has more access and hopefully he can learn some money sense (here's hoping).

Need to get some fire lighters as we have run out. An ambulance has just rolled up, with its flashing lights on, next door neighbour is poorly. They haven't lived here very long and I don't know them that well. Hope he's ok.

Have purchased school shoes, a mere snip at 40 quid. DS1 is very pleased as they are slip on ones and the only ones they had in the shop in his size. Can't say I'm overly impressed. Managed to post some ebay packages and get some bread and milk. Feel quite tired now, this lazing about and doing nothing is hard work.

Yesterday managed to do some work for the kind person who's building our website. Its been one of those jobs that needed doing but not got round to. Today I need to submit the VAT return online.

DD2 has stayed at a friends overnight and she needs collecting later on. DS2 had a friend come to play yesterday, his house has no water so before we took him home he had a shower. We took him home as we had their lawnmower in for repair and it was mended. I ended up staying at their house whilst OH went to collect DS1 from his friends........2 bottles of wine later, no tea (my excuse) and I was the worse for wear. We brought home the child we intended dropping off for a sleepover.

Have been invited back to their house on New Years Day for drinks and nibbles. Promised I'd make a Pavlova, so must do that today. OH has gone to the dentists and I hope he remembers to get some fruit for the Pavlova. He's taken my car, think its the first time its moved for over a week.
