Time is 11.35 and already1 child in tears. The joys of Christmas Eve, I'm sure they have a rota going for who's going to be the moaniest, unhelpfulest, annoyingest, whingeiest, grumpiest........you get the drift.

OH has departed to collect the new vehicle with DD1, shame he couldn't squeeze another 3 in. I have finished and had the best nights sleep ever, pretty good as I didn't take nytol either. I think we went to bed before the chaps, hence grumpy g1ts.

Off to make the chooks some warm slop.

Happy chooks enjoying their gloop. Off into local village shortly in vehicle. Ds1 and ferrets are off to terrify local bunny population.

Hope everybody had a good day yesterday. My lot were very surprised to get an x-box 360 kinect. In fact I've never known it be so quiet. Both myself and OH weren't feeling 100% on the day, probably due to lack of sleep as I kept waking up to ask the time. Honestly how old am I? Don't guess.

Today has been truly terrific, we went to the sales and I'm sat in the living room typing on my all new fangly dangly laptop. Go me. Been desparate for one for ages and decided to get one in the sales and before the VAT goes up. Also got some new jeans and pjs, with some money from my mum for my Birthday.

As a family we welcomed Morris the Maxda pickup to our humble abode. Tis very nice. Came home and lit the stove, it started belching smoke out and wouldn't stop. So ended up cleaning the chimney, not really on the agenda but needed doing.
