I am sooo impressed, the washing repair man is here!!!!! TBH if he'd said he wasn't coming it would've been fine as the roads are horrendous. He phoned to ask how they were and I wasn't sure as I live down a lane. I decided to amble up to the top and met him on the lane. The machine is in bits and there is lots of muttering going on about bushes and things, so keeping a low profile, lots of coffee and mince pies. Wish I had some money to give him a tip.

Tis mended and washing as I type. Can't begin to express how impressed I am as its not stopped snowing and knowing where the chap lives he's got a horrendous journey home.
Not sure if I'll get in tomorrow, will see how brave I'm feeling. Thank goodness I did a couple of 9hr days, so at least the wages will be decent.

Still at work and been here since 5.30am. Am completely shattered, still waiting for OH to pick me up. Just thinking of the hours and payslip, got the beginnings of a head ache. Moan, moan.
