[ Confession number 2, tomorrow I am going for a consultation (already paid for) about getting my eyes lasered. Not sure if I'll proceed as we have purchased Morris and that needs paying for. In my defence this has been booked since October. The final confession, have purchased tickets to see Peter Kay on the 14th of Feb. Please forgive me.

I forgive you as I had my eyes lasered over 10 years ago and tbh its one of the best things I ever did and it has paid for itself many times over !! Also we are going to see Mr Kay Jan 31st .......Sealed pot challenge 822

Still a bit dubious as well V. Forgot a confession, booked a riding lesson for Tuesday. Friend is picking me up at 11 as I can't drive after the consultation. OH has spent ages tidying the office yesterday and we have thrown out loads of stuff. Can't quite believe how much rubbish such a small room holds. He has also got rid of a pile of magazines that he's been hanging onto from our bedroom. Its the small things.

Good luck with the eye consultation, I have always wanted to go ahead and get mine done too, usually a case of no cash but I know it would pay for itself in the long term. Will be very interested to know how it goes, have a good day and dont worry re the confessions they are only treats and you more than deserve them, well done, and ps happy new year.:beer:Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. De-lurking for a mo just to say that I had mine done on 29th Dec and I wish I'd done it years ago!! If you can find the money and your eyes are suitable, I would definately reccomend it. I had Interlase LASIK Wavefront. Don't hesitate to pm me if you want to ask me any questions
Only thing to watch is that it is almost always dearer than they advertise. I managed to get 10% knocked off my price and if I'd pushed could probably have got more off but I'm not very good at these things and the resulting price was what I was prepared to pay anyway.0 -
Ayes (can I call you that?) was that 2010? how did you find the procedure? if you don't mind me asking how old are you?
I can have the procedure my right eye is a 3 and left is a 4 (whatever that means). My friend was star as chauffeur and I bought her lunch and gave her £10 petrol money. It should be good enough to mean I don't have to wear glasses but might not be as 'sharp' as when I am wearing them. For some tasks I 'might' need a slight prescription, but then again it could be perfect. They don't guarantee 100% and have gone through all the potential problems. The bad bit is £1700 per eye, they do offer 0% finance.
Haven't really had chance to talk to OH as he had to go to work when I got home. A lot to think about.
