My thoughts are with you L and your DS. Sounds really awful.
I'm with others on the school. What were they thinking of sending DS to hospital on his own. Must have been very scary for him. Not acceptable in any way shape or form.

Wow, thats a scarey amount of money.
Hope it goes ok with the police.
The other boy must have used some amount of force.

That is terrible news re the cost and if criminal may be recoverable.
Hope the police are of help to you.
Hope you are DS are gradually getting over the shock and that DS is in a little less pain.
Have you discovered yet if it was boys playing or a bullying case/meant injury etc,0 -
Hi lucielle. What awful news, your poor son. I hope he is feeling less sore. What a horrible decision about whether or not to involve the police.
That must have taken your mind off the house-buying decision for now, but it's an interesting option to consider. Do you trust the other couple enough to feel that things would be OK if the unexpected happened - major repairs that you couldn't afford, increase or decrease in the value of the property, either party being unable to mortgage etc. I can't help worrying that it puts you in a difficult position if you are in any way benefiting from their 'generosity' and they could use that against you.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
House buying has been put on the back burner for now. DS1 has been to the dental hospital. he has had various test done and 4 of his top teeth are damaged. he has had to have 1/2 a brace put on to 'pull' one of hiee teeth down that has been forced up into his gum. Still not sure if they will be saved. He has to go back in a couple of weeks.
Spoke to the police and we have until Saturday to decide if we are going to press charges. Got a meeting tomorrow with the school. I will have to leave work a bit earlier. Thinking about gong to see a solicitor. My head is all over the place.

Just had a nice bath. OH has gone into work tonight. Have lit the stove today as it felt quite chilly. Think I will have to dig out the old boys rug sooner rather than later as the temperature is dropping a lot at night.

Know how you feel re the money and the cards. Im desperate to get rid of barclaycard, every time I pay them I think what I could be doing with the money!! Its a nightmare. Hope youre feeling a bit better re the awful business with the school etc.
Have lit my stove too, its so cosy. DS2 is home as he's got a cough and high temp so any excuse to light it!;)
