Hope you have a good time, you know where I am. Have managed to get some hoovering and dusting done. Just watched a very silly film with the chaps 'Mall Cop' nice just to sit down together.

OH isn't working tomorrow as he was supposed to be going in shame the money would've been handy.

Why can't I keep the house tidy? It's such a mammoth operation when people come that I have to spend at least a day cleaning and then another day cooking that I feel knackered by the end of it. If it was just kept on top of it wouldn't be a problem. Is it just me?

Our house is exactly the same Luc - I can have one room sparkling and gleaming and go on to the next and by the time I come back to it it is trashed again - very disheartening (it doesnt help that all of us are messy and not in the least bit tidy!)

Bizarrely though the horses stable and feed room is always immaculate - OH always comments that we live in a pigsty and the horse in a palace - whats all that about!

Hope your finger is ok and the can of worms has been quickly closed again! x x

Thumb is ok still a large blister but not painful. No news on the mother saga, no doubt me and big sis will get something sorted when she is up. Horses are fine, debating whether to start feeding the old boy and if he needs a rug on at night. Trying to put both off for as long as poss as it will take me longer in the mornings and I am trying to get some extra hours in to help go towards Christmas.

I have been comparing OHS wages to last year and he is £600 down on the year. Not sure why as he seems to be working loads. I am starting with a cold, feel as if I have got my rabbit head on and all bunged up. Think I'll go for a bath and see if that clears the sinus'.

And I feel like it would take forever to sort my house out - so mega sympathy for you there! Hope things resolve with your family too... not easy when you are out of sorts with them

I hope the heavy head clears soon - I took lots of decongestant for mine......I now have a very runny nose as everything got moving, (yuk!) but it is a whole lot more comfortable than the stuffy head I had earlier in the week.

As for the house - well, I am not qualified to pass comment :rotfl:

Thanks SH, it just feels like one sister (1 of 3) has stirred up the nest and then announced she is too busy to sort any of the sh1te out. Thanks. It doesn't help that we are spread all over and not in the same county as mother. Plus my stepdad is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Ahh well, must get on with having a bath.

You snook in there Hypno. It just seems such a mammoth task to get it under control and then it all goes pear shaped and back to a pig sty. To be honest I get in from work (I know its part time) and I am shattered. I do find I achieve more in a morning and maybe I should capitalise on this more. For example I washed the floors before I left, plus nobody could paddle all over them. I am up early as are most people and I get the children to do their reading and some maths before they leave. Also walk the dog and get the chooks done and leave at 8.30 when they get the bus.

Once the horses are in at night I will have to do them before I go to work and again on the way home. Roll on next summer.

sorry to hear you about the heavy head lucielle. lots of us struggle with our pigsty houses, I am quietly confident that mine is the worst of all and I don't even have any animals larger than mice. Like you I can get more done in the morning. I should really go and wash the floor now while noone is walking on it.
