Well I have just had my flue well and truly rodded!!!!!!!! Boy does it feel good.

Yep OH got his rods out...............................and swept the chimney. It has been on the 'to do' list for ages and as it didn't get done last year it was annoying me. Actually it wasn't too bad and the mess was kept to a minimum. He has now gone into overdrive and decided to lay some tiles that have been waiting for nearly 3 years to go down. His hip is giving him some pain but he won't sit down and have a rest. He is on nights next week.

A house I have been ogling for a while is under offer. Disappointed but I shouldn't be really as without winning the lottery there is no way we can afford it!

Well OH has surpassed himself. We have now got the 3 year old tiles laid, but this did consist of OH wielding an angle grinder in the kitchen last night to cut the ruddy things up. Dust and grime everywhere so a late night for all of us.

Have managed to make 3 orange and 3 lemon drizzle cakes tonight. Was naughty and got a takeaway for tea. I forgot to get stuff out. I'm off work tomorrow and going to make some fruit cakes. I have my sister and family coming up this weekend as my niece is off to uni and asked me to make her a cake.

Hoping to also get some tidying up done and maybe catch up on a bit of sleep and some paperwork.

DD1 is off on a visit to the high school tomorrow night. It is near to Lidl so if we have time we might venture in. A payment of £86 came out off a loan at the beginning of the week. This loan should be paid up in May.
