Drop in income, pre-retirement?
Interesting article/ survey about finances tightening post- 50. I had assumed the time before retiring was the best opportunity for people to get their finances in order, before a drop in income at pension age. Does this chime with people's experience?

Construction Industry Holiday Stamp Scheme
Does any know of the CI holiday stamp scheme which allows someone to claim back the stamps they paid back in the 70s and 80s? I have heard you need to have 80 weeks. My husband has 59 weeks and wonders why we can't claim these back? Any help much appreciated.
