Remortgage current house to BTL and buy a new house with residential mortgage at the same time?
Advice needed please, we are hoping to remortgage our current property to a BTL to rent out, then use some of the equity to buy another house to live in which will need a (rather large) residential mortgage for. Can this be done at the same time? Also where is best to find out if we can actually afford both? Thanks so much

Hi all, Before I proceed with speaking to a mortgage broker, I was wandering if it was possible as a full time employee to apply for a joint mortgage with my self employed partner who will have only one year of accounts at the end of April.
