I've accepted a new mortgage deal on the app, but have heard today santander is cutting their rates Friday. Is there still time for me to cancel and lock in these better rates on Friday. My progress according to the app is shown below

Something I saw on tiktok from a mortgage broker, looked legit like a generic email sent around out to brokers.

    From our Santander BDM;-

On Friday 31 January, we’re reducing most fixed rates in our new business and product transfer ranges by up to 0.28%. A small number of fixed rates are increasing by up to 0.12%.

Residential product transfers - selected 2 year and 5 year fixed rates reducing by up to 0.10%.

Santander have been losing market share recently apparently. Chimes with the rumours of descaling/exiting their UK operations.
