I am going around in circles where my LISA provider says that they need the percentage of share of freehold, length of lease etc to check if a lender will consider this. The vendor states the freehold is is in a name…

Broker that waives fee for NHS staff
Just going through the home buying process. Have used Alexander Hall as our mortgage broker. They informed us the other day that since my partner is NHS staff they waive their fee (usually £499). They don't seem to advertise this so it was only right at the point of application we found this out!

My Santander mortgage is coming to the end of its current deal later this year. If I apply to them for additional borrowing and they decline will this affect the option of selecting a new deal with the current mortgage that is usually available 4 months before it ends? Thanks!

I spoke to someone in Nationwide and was advised I could choose to keep my mortgage payment the same and also to choose to…

Virgin Money 5yr Fixed at 2.7% - surely too good to be true?
While looking at mortgage deals over on the London & County site, the below 2.7% 5 year fixed rate appears - surely in the current climate this is too good to be true and likely an error? Through Virgin Money site itself the rate is over 4%. I cannot find this anywhere else either. The issue is that I am currently stuck in…
