Banking by post.
Hi everyone, I have a cash ISA with natwest, and as I'm sure you know, their rates kinda suck. I'm looking to transfer my cash to either the Manchester Building society ISA (because of the nice high rate) , or the IF ISA because of the easy access & online banking. The question is - what is it like to bank by post? I am of…

Cash ISA — Limit Increase 2009/10
As most people with an interest in ISAs know the cash limit for over-50s is increased by £1500 to £5100 with effect from 6/10/2009. There is a rule which prohibits a depositor from "subscribing" to more than one cash ISA per year. So, I'm left wondering what the position is of a depositor whose initial ISA this year has…

Transferring cash isa question
Sorry if this is an obvious question - I'm at work and don't have the T&Cs for my ISA.. I've just applied to transfer my isa to the best buy on Martin's guide. My current cash isa pays interest yearly, so the transfer will go through without including this year's interest I think. Do I get this in March as planned? Or is…

withdrawing from ISA - Better than taking on a loan?
Due to having her car written off my partner needs to buy a new one. She needs approx £2,500 to buy a replacement after receiving payment on her old car. She has an ISA taken out this year, which I believe is with Nationwide. Is she better off removing some cash from the ISA instead of taking on a loan?
