Weird post, I know. I'm trying to find a gift that specifically commemorates the 1917 Russian Revolution for my friend's 40th birthday later this month. I can't find anything online and have no idea what to get for him. Does anybody have any ideas? My 21st birthday was in 2005, the 200th anniversary of the Battle of…

Fridge Freezer
The gap where my FF sits is 69cm. All FF's seems to come in either 60cm or 70cm. I currently have a 60cm FF and it looks so small in the gap. I can't seem to find any (under a grand) that are around 64-68cm. I was wondering if there is anywhere else that stocks them I've not looked at yet? I've looked at Curry's, John…

Looking for some 'value' gravel grid
About to do my driveway in gravel (likely 20mm stone) Seen the gravel grid stuff that stops the gravel moving - I've very keen to reduce maintenance and prolong it looking good. Problem is it seems to be about £17 per square metre which seems a huge amount for a piece of plastic. Anyone know how to get it cheaper? I need…

I need a new laptop and have been hunting around for some bargains. I've got up to £750 to spend so any discounts would be much appreciated. Are these light panels actually any good?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232152923778 Any advice on whether they'd actually be any good? Looking to light a room that's about 5m X 3m or so. It doesn't have to reach into the corners but a nice even flow of light would be nice. Would be looking to get two of them.

Naked Wines
I bought a case of 12 bottles of wine at Christmas for around £50 because I had a £60 voucher. The condition of this offer was that I get in the queue to become an Angel. The wine has all been good quality, better than the majority of the supermarket wine I have bought. However, I am now an Angel and pay £20 per month into…

Items shown in house magazines not being available to buy
This happened to me before, I saw an item in a magazine that arrived today, i.e. the April edition and, when I looked it up online, there's no sign of it as for sale in the shop. Do you think the magazines are ahead of the shops, i.e. they know what's going to be available in April? If this is the case, I think the stores…

Sainsbury's 25% off wine offer and other wine offers?
Hi there, I'm planning for a wedding and to avoid all the (arguably) more important things I've put my mind to the booze. I was thinking the Sainsbury's 25% off 6 bottles of wine deal might be a perfect option to stock up but obviously I've just missed the last one. Does anyone know how regularly they run these things and…
