Good morning all.
On this nice sunny day, my 11 year old dishwasher has decided to go to pastures new.
My major problem is that i need a dishwasher with a depth of
570 mm.
It has to be free standing.
I have spent hours looking and am finding it really hard to locate, one. Btw aslimline dw is no good.
Intergrating is not an option.
Any ideas much appricated.

Might be worth giving one of the major retailers such as Currys or John Lewis a ring and asking if they have any 57cm depth dishwashers and if not, why not (i.e. are they still made - as you are finding, virtually all of them have a 60cm footprint).0

Made the treck around john lewis and currys, unless i get an intergrated dw they all seem to be 60cm. Advise was to get one with a slimline control panel. Guess thats my only option.SWAGBUCKS STTD 10/11/2013

Why integrated not an option??
You just don't install the door panel.
Functionally is the same.0 -

Without the door panel on, my dishwasher is hard to open - the hinges are very strong, to accommodate for the weight of the door panel. I certainly wouldn't consider it fully functional as the kids wouldn't be able to open it! It would look really odd too.0 -
This one is expensive but 57cm deep: http://ao.com/product/d1484wf-lg-truesteam-standard-dishwasher-white-28141-23.aspx so you could try other LG ones.0

In my experience they often say 60cm deep when they could be a little shorter.
for example this bosch at £299:
http://ao.com/product/sms50t22gb-bosch-standard-dishwasher-white-27001-23.aspx?cmredirectionvalue=Bosch%20SMS50T22GB
and if you search for that models installation instructions here:
http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/customer-service/download-instruction-manuals.html?enumber=SMS50T22GB
You'll find the instllation instructions here:
https://media3.bsh-group.com/Documents/9000649495_E.pdf
and you'll see in picture 2 on page 2 its only actually 550 deep and requires a minimum 570 deep hole.
This was just the first random bosch I checked.
Do double check this for yourself, I've only checked quickly.
I'd recommend Bosch over anything cheaper.
Remember if you hole is not so deep you often need a little more care to make sure you don't run over the hose and cable as its pushed in to place.0
