Is it possible to recycle inhalers?
Watching my asthmatic OH using inhalers last night, I realised what a terrible waste these things produce - small metal canisters and plastic coverings. I wondered if anyone knew of anywhere that I could separate both the canister and the plastic surround to be recycled? I've looked at the manufacturer's website this…

Re-using probiotic drink bottles?
Anyone got any ideas for re-using those little bottles that probiotic drinks come in? I know they can be recycled, but we get through well over a dozen a week and it seems a shame not to do something more positive with them. Any ideas gratefully received!

Re-cycling in Oz
Just thought that I'd share this with you lot in the Uk. Here in Adelaide South Australia we re-cycle every plastic bottle & we get 5c for each one. Farm shops
what are your experiences/thoughts on Farm shops near you, can you recommend a good one? Around here they can be a bit hit and miss quality wise. What really struck me was how conditioned I have been to seeing all the fruit/veg of a similar shape and size in the supermarkets and how what I first though was mis-shapen was…

Compromises, and how not to compromise
MoneySavers, As a lurker and sometime contributor to the debt-free boards, plus others, I've always wondered where people draw the line on how to balance the moneysaving urge with other ethical concerns. What can be sacrificed? What can't? And what would tip the balance? mjh1977
