stick a brick inside your cistern (preferablly wrapped in polythene etc), so you save water each time you flush.

I fill an empty plastic bottle and stick this in the cistern does the same jobThanks to everyone who posts comps :T0

I used to do this. But I found that there wasnt enough "whoosh" to flush the loo properly and the pipes got blocked and I had to pay a plumber £25 to come and fix it. i look forward to having a water meter. i live on my own in a tiny flat and i pay over £20 in water rates. i have the feeling i can save a bit with a water meter and wasting less water, which unfortunately i know do at the moment...:ook, so i'm hot...
