Change of pay date
Hi my employer is changing my pay date to the middle of the month - from the end of the month to the middle. Obviously this means we will be 2 weeks out of synch, instead of paying us for a 6 week period I have been told the extra two weeks will be paid when our contract ends ie if you leave the job. Can this be done?

Sack any time first two years - so what’s the point of probation periods?
I’ve often seen it written “can be sacked any time in the first two years”, so why do most of the companies I’ve worked for have a 6 month probation period and does it trump the two year mark?
