Anyone had any luck selling at craft fairs?
My sister and I are keen crafters, knitting, patchwork, making general sewn domestic items. Last year we decided to try our hand at selling some of the stuff at craft fairs. It was pretty much a waste of time. I know it wasn't overpriced. I knitted some pretty neat headbands in nice wool, and to test the market priced them…

felt to make gingerbread men
I need to make lots for school Christmas fair but can't find my usual coloured felt in local store this year so far. I think it is a cinamon colour, and, if I remember, quite thin. I have looked online but can't find anything that's not too thick. Any ideas of sources, thanks.

Hi all. My sister has recently got into crafts in a big way, mostly paper crafts. She's on a limited budget though so thinking ahead I thought I would give a big stash of craft goodies for Christmas that I'll start collecting now, a few bits a week. Does anyone know of any companies that offer freebies or samples? Thanks.

Cheaper Aida? Or Alternatives?
I enjoy sewing, and this year thought I might buy some aida and try some cross-stitching for gifts (something I've not done since school!). But I am horrified by the prices I'm finding - £20 per m?? I tend to think any fabric at more than £5 is too expensive for the likes of me... :rotfl: Are there cheaper fabrics?…
