Why are some links actually redirects and not just straight links?
Rather than just clicking on links, I prefer to copy the link and then paste it into a new tab, mainly to avoid tracking - some sites don't like you using MSE to go to their pages. Just posted a comp and couldn't create a clicky. As always, I highlighted the text, went to the box, but when I clicked to edit, it slammed shut! Has my laptop developed a quirk, or is this happening to others? TIA x
