Not able to select entered/skipped on some comps - anyone else?

Hi all, just wondered if anyone else is unable to select the green entered or red skipped button just on certain competitions?
Most comps are working fine for me but the other day I had a handful where these buttons weren't working and have come across another just now this one: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6244477/e-23-02-win-coldzyme-mouth-spray-rc#latest 
I can't select the skipped on entered button on either the main list or when I go into the comp post itself. I've not noticed anything in particular about the comps that I'm having trouble with and  I'm using Google Chrome as normal and have cleared cookies etc... on my browser. 
It's not really a huge problem as it is a minority of comps but it is odd. 
Hmmm just found this post that I have the same issue with https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6244627/e-23-02-win-a-salon-starter-kit-low-entry-5-winners-tw#latest - both have pictures but can't see how it would be that.

Maybe because they closed yesterday 23/02

You can't mark them if the discussion is closed.
The ones you've posted are closed discussions, where the competitions closed yesterday.

oh that makes sense I was skipping so didn't even notice the date (*face palm*). I've not come across it before but must be that. Thanks both.
