Sky Cancelled, now Multiroom no longer working
So am I right in thinking that the feed from the 2nd lot of Sky cables from the dish are now redundant? Or can I still connect them to a freeview/freesat box and use the signal as before? The TV downstairs is working absolutely fine now I've switched the Viewing Cards over, so just wondering if the cables into my room can…

freeview+ recorder-daft question!!!
Sorry if this is really daft, but i am about to go and buy a new freeview tv and a freeview+ recorder which i have never used before. Now there are two over 80 year olds in the house which are a bit paranoid about leaving plugs in overnight/when not at home in case of electrical fire, had one previously so can understand…

I recently bought a magic eye and cable off amazon and initialy had it trailing losely on floor from living room 1 (sky + box) to living room 2 no probems worked fine. Has anyone got a discount on Virgins new Tivo box via retentions??
Just cancelled my contract for phone, XL TV and 50Mb BB. Initially was offered £4 discount, declined. Second call yesterday, in between I had heard about the new box but didn`t like the upfront cost. Offered the new box at the standard rate for installation, but overall a £15pm discount, effectively £12 off what I am…

Can an Ordinary TV work with a Blu-Ray DVD Player?
Can someone please advise me as to whether it would be possible to use a Blu-Ray DVD player to provide the signal to an ordinary TV, and whether all Blu-Ray DVD players have the appropriate output? Are there any Blu-Ray characteristics that would cause problems to an ordinary TV, and would such an arrangement achieve a…

chasing in Coaxial cable. Is it worth it?
Hi, I am purchasing a Victorian home that needs a complete re-wire. I currently use Sky and since I need to make a mess of the house chasing in new electricity cables, I thought I might hide all the unsightly Coaxial cable for the Sky box in the walls. Does anyone know whether this is possible/advisable. I want Sky in two…

Scart tv sender and indoor aerial...
Ok, i basically have a second tv that im thinking of using upstairs, but connecting the main aerial to it would be too much hassle. Help with Sky
I would like some advice with regards to Sky please as I am not sure what to ask for when I call them. At the moment I have a normal Sky box and pay for the full package. My tv is an old Sony one so no HD etc. Ideally I would like a Sky+ box in order to be able to record one programme whilst watching another but I don't…

Sky Sports
Sorry if this has been covered before but I called Sky yesterday to say I wanted to cancell Sky Sports over the summer as I was a football fan and it had nearly finished for the season. Instantly the lady gave me 3 months for £5 a month, which was cheaper than me cancelling for the 2 months. So worth a try even if you…

Hi all, I have spent a couple of weekends running TV coax around my house and I need to get an 8-way TV amp. After all the effort put into running the cables discretely, I want to make sure that I install a good quality amp - I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Freeview updated and now cannot get signal for some channels
Got a message when switched TV on this morning saying I need to re-setup the freeview box to update channels. Did this but now several channels like CBeebies, BBC1 and 2 Scotland and some others are saying "No Signal". The Freeview box is a Ferguson. Anyone else found this and what should I do?

Cancelling Sky
When I bought Sky I took out the HD channels as at the time you got free installation worth £65 and £130 cashback was only payable with the HD channels which meant over the year I would be better off paying the £10 a month for the channels once the free installation and cashback were taken into account (I also got a HD box…

Sky and their ridiculous customer service!
So after a long problem my mum has had with her sky account, she informed them she would cancel the direct debit and pay once the bill was received! (was being charged and not refunded for broadband and talk but doesn't have them!) so she never got an 'invoice' (but was charged £4 for this!) anyway...she didn't get it so…
