Aspect ratios from Virgin
Is anyone else having problems with the aspect ratios on Sky 1, Sci Fi and so on through Virgin Cable? I had this problem once before many moons ago. After endlessly messing with settings when I tackled Virgin they said it was how the show was delivered to them!!! Text is lost at the left and right side of the screen so…

New Sky Card
I've had Sky Freesat for years. Now I hear that new cards are being sent out. Does anyone know whether us 'free' customers will get one too? Also I have a viewing card which I purchased on moving from subscription and never used. Would that work if the old card stops?

SKY Picture Freeze- What's The Cure?
Can I pick the brains of some of the experts here? I have SKY, have had it for some years and I'm generally fairly happy with it. I'm finding now though that on a few of the channels the picture freezes intermittently. They are not the main channels, I'd describe them as some of the more obscure ones, but it's still…

ASA (Approved Sky Agent) Herts/ M25
Anyone recommend a ASA in South Herts/ North (of) London area. I want a new Sky+ HD and multi-room and there is apparently a 3 month queue if I order through Sky on their £49 upgrade offer. Want other aerial bits tidied up so prepared to pay a bit more, though not the £199 full price for the box.

I'm looking for the cheapest 42" inch TV (its for DDs bedroom & she wants a 42"). Tesco have one for £400 http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-2704.aspx Is this the cheapest? This comes with a free sky+HD box (unless you already have one:rolleyes:, then you can't have the "free" box:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:).

Tesco Technika 42" Plasma - Under £400!
Currently in-store and on-line for £399.97 (and you can use your vouchers on it). I've seen one running in-store and the picture seems superb. It's also a very slim unit and only 28kh, so ideal for wall-mounting. A little sparse on inputs, and the usual issue of them being a pain to access once it's on the wall but it's…

Can anyone recommend a sky installer who would could do an installation at a reasonable price in london? Quad LNB
Hi all, I already have a Sky dish and box from a looong time ago. I am going for the Pay Once Watch Forever package. Does this mean I can have 2 Sky boxes that can point to…

You're paying for SKYMAG!
I have just had a conversation with a friend of mine who pointed out that when flicking through her SkyMag she noticed in the small print she was being charged £1.75 a month from her subscription for the magazine. She phoned up and they cancelled the magazine saving her £1.75 a month on her subscription. Personally I would…

The mystery surrounding free upgrades to Sky+
I very recently found out that four of my work colleagues have Sky+ and ALL of them got it for free. One was a very new customer to Sky whilst the others have been with Sky for a number of years. All four of them told me they either requested an upgrade or were offered the Sky+ box when they signed upto Sky. Now I have…
