Warning: Live Mail 2012 with hotmail/outlook/etc. email addresses
Bad news for anyone who uses Microsoft's email client: Windows Live Mail 2012, and who has an email address with hotmail/ outlook.com/ live.com/ msn.com. Windows Live Mail 2012 will stop working with these email addresses sometime next month, June 2016. I believe Microsoft should be emailing this one out to affected users,…

I'm trying to get WiFi in another flat along the street. Video compression freeware
I am looking for some video compression freeware to compress a 180Mb MP4 file to around 10Mb - by reducing the resolution from 1920*1080. Quality not that important (it was created on my phone and is a silly size for a 1 minute video) I have tried Wondershare video converter - which only allows a free trial of a small…

OneDrive
I'm so glad I didn't bother with this. A couple of weeks back after setting up a laptop for Win 10 using an MS account I got an email boasting of the 25GB free space offered by OneDrive. Today I get one saying the free allowance has dropped to 5GB. Who would use the free storage now after they have so cavalierly reduced it…

Which Antivirus to Use?
Having noticed a recent thread about Norton and how it's not a good choice, can someone recommend an antivirus for me. I've been using Norton for a few years now and my subscription is up for renewal soon, but they want ~£54 for it and, from what I've read recently, it doesn't seem worth paying for. Thanks in advance! :)

Using a newer version of Norton to renew
I have Norton Internet Security 2013 and the renewal price online is a joke. In previous years I have occasionally bought a new copy in Tesco and just used the product key. Now I see that the product is just called Norton Security. If I buy this will the product key work ok with older versions of NIS?

Do you use Yandex browser?
I have recently changed from using Chrome on my Vista 32 bit laptop to Yandex browser and it is fast and efficient, crisp and clear. I like the fact that the screen capture is so much simpler then the snipping tool, but, when I save the capture, it whizzes off somewhere and I can't find it. Ideally I would like it to go to…
