I have a Lg G3. I have bought a Lg G5 and would like to copy the datas, apps, contacts and settings of the G3 to my G5.
Which is the best way to do it? What is the best software to use?

If it's all backed up on the old one then when you log into the new one all your apps and data should be there

No, it didn't happen. So probably my G3 never was backed up.0 -
Presuming you still have the G3, would this work https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lge.mobilemigration&hl=en_GB
or this http://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000027-1405572883802-preinstall-apps
I have an LG G3 which is brilliant - have you found the G5 worth the upgrade?0 -

Reset the G5. Log into your Google account on setup. Syncing will occur and you will have contacts etc transferred. You may have to reinstall some apps but that is easy to do.0 -
The two cameras are very good, the panoramic one is brilliant.
I didn't use it that much as a phone until now, I got my sim card today, and I need to have that phone with the settings and apps I am used to use. It is very similar to the G3, moving from the G3 to the G5 it might be worth it, from the G4 it might not be worth it.
There is a fingerprint scanner which I don't have on the G3, it's working well so far, the battery is smaller, so I don't know yet if it's going to be worst than the G3, or because they have change some things and might have make the phone more power efficient, it might end up being better.
It is just a bit longer than the G3, so there isn't that much difference in looks, except for the way you take the battery off.
It's as good as the G3, with a few differences. I will not get rid of my G3 yet, mine is still working well.
I didn't allow any syncing in my G3 (to save on battery). That's probably why.
I am trying to use LG backup to transfer from phone to phone, but it stopped stating that there wasn't enough storage left on the G5 to transfer the data.
I am waiting for a 64G memory card, and will try again.
If it doesn't work, I'll try what is suggested above.0 -
There is an app by LG for this.
LG Backup (Sender) from the play store0 -

Quick and simple, used it for about 400 phones in the place I work.0 -
That's what I am trying to use, but it says that the G5 doesn't have enough storage. I don't believe that, I have 19GB left out of the 32GB built in storage I have on the phone. So I don't know what's going on and why it doesn't work.0

The best "app" is to use Google sync instead. Simply turn on Google sync in settings and connect to a wifi connection as it will chow your mobile data.
Give it half an hour or so to sync on the G3 (depending on connection speed) and then turn off. Log into your G5 and enable Google Sync from there and it will download all your contacts and synced stuff to your new phone.
Ensure you disconnect your account from your old phone. I've done it on hundreds of devices and never need to use 3rd party apps0
