How to watch Kindle Fire content on TV-help please

Hi, apologies if this is not the right forum.
I want to watch content from my kindle fire on my TV. I have so far bought 3 different HDMI to mini USB cables and none of them work. Surely all 3 cables cannot be duffers? Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks in advance.

It's wireless you do not need a cable.

It's called display mirroring. You need a compatible TV or box for it to work.

It works very well with the Amazon Fire Stick.

Switch your TV to HDMI input. The exact process will vary from television set to television set, but usually, you will need to press the "Source" or "Input" button on your remote control and scroll through the options until you see an active HDMI input. Select this input.
Note that your Kindle Fire HD must be turned on before you change the input. Otherwise, your TV may not sense the connection.

Not all Kindles will do it without a separate HDMI adapter.
If your Kindle has a micro-HDMI connector (not the USB used for charging), then you need a micro to standard HDMI cable.

It only has a micro USB, does that mean it won't work?

Not with the cables you've purchased.
    Look at the wi-fi options.

What cable would I need to purchase?
I looked at display mirroring but it doesn't come up in settings?
    Thank you

A cable alone won't do it. Maybe a Fire TV stick would, it seems the ability to connect even that way was not available on all models though.
