Renaming a DVD Drive
I have a niggling little problem that's tasking me. I had another problem, now resolved, where it was looking like I might have to reload the OS, with all the hassle of backing up and reloading all my data. So, I've used Norton PartitionMagic to split my laptop's hard drive into two partitions, the original one for the OS…

Amongst todays Amazon local deals is a web design course, reduced from £600 to £49. Common sense suggests that it can't be much good, but the blurb seems quite comprehensive to someone who knows little about the subject. I was thinking of buying this for a teenage girl(14), as a kind of extra string for her future. Is it,…

Budget all-in-one printer question...
I'm looking at budget all-in-one printer/copier/scanners for my parents, who are in their late 80s and actually do quite a lot of printing - their Christmas letter alone runs to 120 copies, and they are both involved with paperwork for voluntary organisations. The reason I'm looking is because my poor dear stepfather…
