Hi can you update google chrome automatically?, or is it just when you click on 'about google chrome' it checks.

Also within 'Chrome' can you find its own forum?

Thx

I can't see a setting for auto-update. But then again, I like to have a modicum of control over such things anyway. :)

    What "forum" do you mean?

Mine updates automatically, I assume that's the default setting.

OK mines Up to date, but doesn't seem to?

Perhaps because its not set as default browser?

+1 for above. Mine also updates automatically but if you go to the settings menu(top right) and "about google chrome" then if there is an update waiting it will start automatically.

Are you sure the version hasn't changed recently? Mine updated today to version 25.0.1364.160 m

I'm not sure what you mean by 'doesn't seem to'. Updating happens silently, Chrome doesn't tell you when it's happening.

If you don't go via "About Google Chrome" for a while a tag appears on the settings menu to alert you an update is waiting. If you ignore long enough I believe it just gets on with it but I don't know the time frame for this.
