Euurugghhhhh i hate Google Instant...where as soon as you start typing in Google search it brings up related searches. I couldn't find the option to turn it off in v8.x Chrome browser but i've now installed v9 Beta Chrome and there IS an option to turn off Instant under options>basic>search but this doesn't work. I have a new phone - Android 2.1. No software was provided with it. Connected it with a USB cable to my PC (Windows XP) and got the message as in the title to this thread.
