Problems with page not refreshing.

PS3 Help with wireless
Hi I need to increase the the signal from my wireless conection I'm currently running at 37% I have broadband from Virgin. Can anyone tell me the best way to do this. I can't use an ethernet cable because the wireless router is upstairs and the PS3 is downstairs. Any help would be much appreciated.
