PS3 Help with wireless

I need to increase the the signal from my wireless conection I'm currently running at 37% I have broadband from Virgin. Can anyone tell me the best way to do this. I can't use an ethernet cable because the wireless router is upstairs and the PS3 is downstairs.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Depending upon what type of wireless router you have you may be able to attach an external "high gain" aerial to it to increase the range.

Can you specify which router it is?

I will look in to the ariel are they easy to find and where would you attach it.

If you can attach an aerial there should be a connector (very small brass push on connector usually) on the case somewhere. Whats the exact model number?
