cant get broadband to work on new laptop
i have just got a brand new laptop but can't get it broadband to work on it. im currently on virgin broadband and they dont send u discs etc so nothing gets loaded on just passwords once you go onto internet explorer. why can't i get it to work, it was fine on this computer im using.

Dad's laptop has Norton Preinstalled - how do i get it off?
Hello, is it just a simple case of going to add and remove or do I need to do something more complex to make sure it's gone. I've never used Norton but I've heard all the horror stories and I am wanting to put AVG on it. Thanks

hi, i downloaded microsoft works ages ago and for about a week now there has been an update available in the windows update function. i have tried to install the update but it keeps failing. it says it is for microsoft works 8. can i just ignore it? it does say it is an important update.
