I've just bought a petrol mower for 26 gbp and fixed most of it. Now I need a couple of wheels (front). I have the part number and model number but can only find them in the states. Anyone know if these are generic parts?

Model; Rally (Fridgidaire) RE621CA
Wheel; 146247

What I've found so far; Item# AY-146247
AYP/SEARS PART 146247
WHEEL.8X2.PR.RAD

I know someone will be able to point me in the right direction!

Regards

Zahc

Yep, that's the only place I found. I forgot to mention I need a belt too. I'm sure these parts will be generic, I just need a bit of guidence!

Surely it's just a standdard 8x2 wheel? How does it secure on? Most garden centers and even some DIY stores do spare wheels for generic matches these days.

It slips over an axle and a nut and washer secures it. I'll have a look at a local garden centre if that's the case. Cheers

Worth checking out your local garden power tools repair person. Ours always has a mountain of broken mowers available for spares or will know where to get what you need! Worth also posting this on 'Greenfingered' board!!

Thanks. I asked around and was pointed to a back alley where a bloke does nothing but repairs mowers. Pair of wheels to fit; £2. Chuffed to monkeys. I now have a fully serviceable petrol mower for £28.
