nero burning is playing up and i cant burn files to disc, however , i can back up files to disc ,i did this and when i tried to open the avi file it gave "windows cannot open file" as it was in some weird file type- surely it should be backed up as it originally was in avi format?(which it did when nero worked fine)-…

If you Use A F Splitter Do You Lose Quality?
I've got a VM Cable into my house. I want to take the cable from the wall into a splitter and have 2 boxes off the splitter. I'll then have a 2 scart adapter into my TV whr eI can switch between the two boxes. Will I lose allot of quality by doing this? Cheers.

Google Checkout causes Internet Explorer to hang
Very infuriating - have filled out an order twice on Ebuyer specifically to take advantage of £10 saving using Google Checkout, but when I get to the Google screen to log in it just hangs and I end up having to close down every Internet Explorer window. Rechargeable Batteries
Who make the best, longest lasting rechargeable batteries? I have mainly used Jessops own name AA/AAA for digital cameras and found it doesn't take long before they will not hold a charge for very long. I had the impression that you should be getting close to a thousand recharges but nowhere near. Any help appreciated.
