I bought the Acer9301 its the one currently in tesco. its great for me and it lays my sims game
lol
But where do i get a battery that lasts longer? also I cant find anyway of extending the warrenty??

how long does it last, how long do you want/expect it to last? Have you tried dimming the screen. Did you charge it fully when you first used it?
Extended warranties are a waste of money imo.

With regards to Laptop warranties in general, If you open them up in any way such as unscrewing parts in order to add/remove components, dont worry that dont include the main battery, the warranty is void.
To extend your warranty I would recommend contacting Acer is Tesco dont do it, failing that Im unsure as to the route you could take, perhaps someone else has more knowledge than me in this area.
Be wary calling Acers helpline, the best time to call is between 2 and 3, I know because I dealt with Acer laptops that were returned as a previous job.

You can buy your own warranty - the manufacturer ones are often insurance based like this:

If it's brand new, I would expect it to last a couple of hours at least with energy saving turned on.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
