Where to sell gold?
I was led to believe that gold is one of the best long term investments you can make. So ten years ago i bought £1000 worth of rings and chains. Now i want to sell and i expect to have doubled my outlay, but i can't find anyone who wants to pay a fair price. Jewellers only want to offer me scrap value and Ebay was a waste…

I have just finished the application process for an Icesave fixed one-year savings term but have not been provided with a User ID with which I can log in to my account - how do I get that? Also, do I need to go in branch to arrange a transfer of money to this account or can I just use my online banking facility to do it?

Savings Protection
Hi Folks, It's my first post so apologies if this has already been covered or i'm posting in the wrong place etc. I've just flogged my house and put the money in the bank and was wondering how best to protect it in that I'd need more than a few accounts if it was divided by the 35k you are insured against. What About FirstSave?
I recently searched the forum regarding FirstSave and found a variety of opinions. Some wouldn’t touch it with a bargepole because of it’s Nigerian connections (corruption); others aren’t worried because it has the £35,000 guarantee; some are concerned for ethical reasons; others say customer service is poor: some good. I…
