More takeover bids please
According to the 'Stay withh BAA' defence document against the takeover bid by Ferrovial Consortium, shareholders are to get a 40% increase in 2006/07 dividend, a further 7% in 2007/08 and a £750 million return of capital. Would the shareholders have received these benefits without the takeover bid? I doubt it.
