Co-op Bank Pathfinder Account question

hello everyone, this is a bit of a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to set up direct debits on the Cooperative Bank's (now discontinued) Pathfinder account?

I have one, but can't find the original t&cs to check, and there's nothing about it on their website. It is a savings account, but has a visa debit card, so I was thinking maybe DDs are ok too?

Thought I'd try here before ringing them, as it normally takes them an age to answer!

thanks :)

Yes, you can have Direct Debits and Standing Orders on the Pathfinder. DD's are originated by the person you are paying so supply sort code and account number in the usual way. You can set up Standing Orders yourself, either over the phone or via the Co-op Internet Banking. My wife has one of these accounts. Good interest rates when they first started but a bit of a joke now. Nevertheless, it's basically a current account with everything but a cheque book or overdraft so it's still useful.
