Next Shareholder Benefits

I am looking to make a substantial purchase from Next.

However, as Next don't offer discouts, I have read somewhere that if you purchase shares from Next, you receive a one off discount.

Can anyone confirm as to whether this is true. Obviously, I realise I would have to calculate costs of purchasing and selling the shares and consider that the value of the shares could go down.

    Hi there,

    According to Hargreaves Lansdown ( but check with the company before buying shares ), Next shareholders get a voucher which entitles them to a 25% on-off discount. But there are a few conditions, not least that you need to own a minimum of 500 shares, which will set you back the best part of £8500...
