Store card claim rejected, but mentions Pelvin?
Hi All, I'm looking for a little advice here. I've attempted to reclaim PPI from Santander on a store card taken out in 2000. They have rejected the claim as a non advised sale. I'm happy enough to take it to the FOS and have done this for other claims before, but the last page of the letter says 'You may be due redress in…

Failed PPI claim when sick
I have a current claim where HSBC admitted I had PPI on a loan from around 2003 - I remember at the time I was employed and was off work sick and when I made a claim they told me I wasn’t covered. I was young and at the time just accepted that and it obviously put me in financial difficulty. Should I insist this is taken…

Barclays can’t find my Egg account
I have no paperwork, but submitted my claim to Barclays for an Egg card which I took out around 1999 and paid off around 2003. I gave my maiden name and all addresses. Barclays wrote back to say they couldn’t find any account in my name. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks in advance.

A bit of advice please
Hello I applied for PPI refund on HSBC mortgage and First Direct credit card using Resolver. HSBC and FD took forever to reply through Resolver, and their replies in both cases were: as I had signed a form with the PPI details, I had no case and they rejected my case. Surely this isn't correct, the whole point of PPI is…

Can I claim PPI
Hi, The answer may seem a resounding yes if it was mis-sold, but heres my partners situation. Before my partner met me, she used to get mortgage advice from The Mortgage Bureau. Do you think I can reclaim PPI?
Hi all, First off I have held a Lloyds Bank current account for 33 years. I think it was called Club Lloyds at the time, the Bank said I could only have this account and no other. CMC "found PPI" but Barclay's claim none exists.
Totally new to this so please bear with me. Dad competed an initial (free) PPI enquiry via a CMC who wrote back to say they'd found he had PPI. As he's only ever banked with one bank, (Barclay's) and only ever had one credit card (Barclaycard) and never recalled agreeing to PPI, it seemed straightforward to check it direct…

Northern Rock PPI confusion
We took out a Northern Rock mortgage in 1998 and were persuaded to take out PPI. This policy was arranged by Northern Rock and called the Northern Rock Paysafe Plan. It was underwritten first by General Accident, then CGU Insurance plc (t/a Norwich Union). In June 2001, Northern Rock selected Pinnacle Insurance plc (now…
