Hi, I am new to this forum but have been following Martin for years and was wondering if someone can help to track down the mortgage department of Citibank. my wife and I had a mortgage with them for some years but so far have had no luck in tracking down any mis-sold PPI. In fact we have been told that they don't supply mortgages. Any help would be appreciated.

    I was never aware citibank did retail mortgages.

    Was this before regulation or after regulation. Typically small retail firms used brokers as they didnt have a branch network. So, regulation is a key date.

    Also, MPPI would have been a standalone product if you had it. Not built into the mortgage. That is one of the reasons why most MPPI complaints fail. The lender is not responsible for complaints made about MPPI sold by brokers.
