Free Stuff fleeced money out of my mobile
Hi, just thought I'd let you know about my experience earlier today. While looking for the ultra lift callenge website I found a Free Stuff website. It was great fun, I registered for some free dove samples. Some of the freebies required you to register with the F.S. website, which I did. I had my eye on some Maybelline…

Harry Ramsdens Poor Service
Took the family to Harry Ramsdens for lunch yesterday lunchtime. It was pretty busy and the staff seemed a bit rushed but given the price they charge it is only fair you completely get what you pay for which was not what i got when my order arrived even though it was correct, the quality was not good. The chips were either…

Sky TV - who can I complain to?
I really don't want to go into my complaint again (as I am sick of hearing myself tell the people at Sky, to no effect ). Who can I write to to complain about appalling customer service? I tried emailing Jeremy Darroch using the email address that is somewhere on this forum, and the emails get bounced back as…

Is this a criminal offence...
... or do I just have to put up and shut up which is more or less what the copper that came out told me? I moved on January 4th, handed keys back to letting agent on the 12th. Pleased to be rid as they bullied me into selling stuff on ebay to pay the rent before my housing benefit was due with threats of two months notice…

Previously, I have been stung by paying £5 in phone charges for a hamster cage that cost me £10. And it happened again to me this month, when I purchased an electronic keyboard. Previously, I thought I had rang the guys mobile, but when I received my phone bill this time with another high charge, I checked into it. And the…

Sockshop online
My daughter cannot wear socks with seams in the toe. When my last supplier became too expensive I googled and came up with goods offered by the Sockshop. At about a tenth of the cost I was paying previously (shan't give you the name of that company,) they offered a good selection and fast delivery. So I made a trial order;…

Hilarys Blinds - overpriced
Had a pre-booked visit from a Hilarys sales guy today. He quoted £120 for a 3.5Ft sq. roller-blind. I told we were wasting each others time as a local firm had given me a quote over the phone for under half that. He didn't seam fazed, and indicated that it was a common response.

Asda spectacles..argghhhh
After reading the thread about how great Asda glasses were & how thin they were able to get the lenses, I decided to take the plunge. Unfortunatly, when the glasses arrived instore they looked a complete mess. Both lenses were protruding through the front of the frame, so I rejected them & they were returned to the lab.…

Superb service from Dyson
We bought a DC25 Animal over 2 years ago and haven't had a problem until today. I phoned them and they answered the call straight away so no holding on for 10 minutes until someone answers the call. The lady I spoke to was very cheery and I could understand every word she says which is a rare thing for a call centre. The…

Praise - Asda home delivery
I know there is a lot of criticism of Asda food delivery on here, and I don't doubt for a second that it's due, but I thought I'd share my experience. I ordered the shopping for Tuesday evening as I thought my husband would be in to help carry it up the stairs (We live in a flat on the first floor and I am 6 months…

Housework
Can I just make it clear that this is a lighthearted vent about my husband - I am very grateful that he helps out round the house, he just needs more training ;) To my husband : Why do you insist on using ALL the products to do the cleaning? Seriously, three or four sprays of antibac is enough on the kitchen worktops, it…
