My daughter cannot wear socks with seams in the toe. When my last supplier became too expensive I googled and came up with goods offered by the Sockshop.

At about a tenth of the cost I was paying previously (shan't give you the name of that company,) they offered a good selection and fast delivery. So I made a trial order; one pair of school colour socks.

And waited.

Ten days later I stopped waiting and phoned the free help line.
(Yes, after checking with our neighbours and local sorting office that they weren't holding anything for our address!)

The helpline lady could not have been more apologetic, and said they would re-send the order immediately. That was backed up with email confirmation of despatch.

Not only was the customer service darn good, the socks (received yesterday) are thankfully comfortable on my daughter's skin.

Sorry for this long-winded bit of praise. I was just impressed by a customer services line that carried out its promises.

Good service for me as well,shame they put the price of the socks I used to buy up as I would of carried on using them.

Well, today my daughter wore the Sockshop seam-free socks all day. She did not complain about being uncomfortable, and when I took them off her feet this evening, her skin looked as good as it gets.

The socks I bought previously cost £8 a pair plus £2.50 p&p.
