Freecycle wants

Some of the wants on freecycle really are daft,
take this one today on my local one

"hi there, can anyone help me, i am in need of a 42" plasma tv as the one i have
has been broken by the kids playing on the wii, i no this is a lot to ask but i
cannot afford a new one, so if there is a kind sole who can help me out this
would be much appreciated

I've seen people ask for cars, motorbikes and caravans. Can't believe the cheek of some of them'
I remember one request for a car said they never had the time to do-one-up, they were waiting to use it so needed one that was already taxed and Mot'd.

Oh yes certainly and if you'll wait an hour i'll valet for you.

Funny thing they can't afford the car, tax or mot. But they can afford the insurance.:rotfl:

And that's why I don't freecycle anymore. It got so bad I thought 3/4 of the posts were actual jokes, posted by drunks after a session in the pub!!!!

I've stopped using Freecycle/Freegle. Too many people agreeing to take items, then not turning up.

Yep theres alot of stupid wants on there, the tv example is just 1 of them.

I help run the birmingham one and some of the requests go from a car to chipped cable boxes
