Freecycle wants

I posted an offer of a box of random'car boot' stuff at about 3pm a couple of days ago, stating that collection would have to be after 7pm that night or 7pm the next night. I immediately got 3 responses along the lines of 'do you still have this?'. I hate it when people do this, grrrr! So, I simply replied to all of them 'Yes, I do', and ignored subsequent 'give me your address now' emails.

Then came the 3 emails from people who hadn't even bothered to read the post; 'I can come now, where do you live', 'I will collect at 6pm tonight' and 'I can pick up at weekend wots ur adress' - Aaaaaarrrggh!

I eventually had a nice, polite request from someone who could collect when I'd be at home, so I offered it to him and guess what... NO SHOW! :mad:

Oh, and yesterday I had a response to a computer cabinet I offered ages ago, which simply stated 'do u not deliver' :eek:

There was a woman on my local Freecycle who asked for a pair of GHD straighteners, but she said normal ones weren't any good as they had to be the highest priced limited edition ones. She said she was poor and her daughter would be bullied at school if she didn't have these particular ones! Now I know there is a lot of bullying at schools, but this seemed to tad unlikely.
