BA Executive Club - Blue Members Calling Tip
I recently had a problem trying to combine points from Diamond Club (earned with the fantastic BMI Amex/Visa card) to my BA Executive Club Blue Avios account (or whatever the heck it's called). Evidently, BA are just not interested when you try to tell them that their website is broken (I have sent a strongly worded…

Odd calls
For the last few years (on tps) , we have had only a very small number of unwanted calls, mainly coming up as 'international'. However, since Sky gave notice to BT, that they are taking over the line, we are having two or three a day. Among these are 'withheld's (I have to answer these, as a relative calls this way), where…

BT line rental
I'm currently with BT for my phone and broadband. My contract ends next month, but I've paid line rental until May 2014. BT will not offer me a good renewal deal, but looking at other providers they all seem to include their own line rental. Are there any providers who offer a good phone/broadband deal, but who do not…

Sky incorrectly taken direct debit has landed me with £100 overdraft charges
Hi there, I have been having some issues with Sky. I cancelled my home phone and broadband service as of the 8th August and the last direct debit payment was taken then. I was notified that the account was closed and no more payments would be taken. However I noticed a few days ago that Sky took a direct debit payment of…

BT Suddenly Taking DDs Much Earlier?
Don't know if anyone has noticed this. I have always received my BT Bill on or around the 7th/8th/9th of the month and they have then taken the money via DD on or around 20th/21st/22nd of the month, which suits me fine as I get paid on 20th. This month they billed me as normal. I was away from home so didn't login to check…

Awful Service from TalkTalk
We have recently moved house (27th September). We decided we would give TalkTalk a try following a number of good years with Sky, but some issues when cancelling Sky. We thought it was time for a change. BT would connect our phoneline on the day we moved, but we didn't want to be with them for Broadband, so we chose…

Could my DECT be getting near retirement?
I have a Panny at least 11 years old, and am seeing problems internet-wise that possibly relate to phone calls in/out. I'm just wondering how long Panny DECTs usually last without causing problems, especially ones that affect other equipment. Opinions please!

Warning SKY TALK increase cost of calls to cheap access numbers.
Sky have increased the cost of calls considerably to some non geographical numbers in general from 1/12/2013 . So it could well pay you to find suppliers who offer Freephone or Geographical if you have inclusive minutes Access Numbers for these type of calls. Or get a payg sim and put it in a spare mobile phone and use one…

My BT Line Rental Saver renews in the middle of September each year. BT Drop-box wire being charged
BT have just kindly added £99 to my bill (without telling me) and collected £145 by DD last week. I rang to complain and the answer was that BT Openreach sent BT Wholesale the bill and they passed it onto me. He looked at the reason on the engineers report and it says, "corrosion of the wire" - I have not had the full…

BT changed Direct Debit date with no communication
I have just checked my online banking and found that my monthly DD to BT was taken out on 11th October, when it has always been 16th at the earliest, often 17th. Looked on my BT account and on this occasion it does say "on or after 11th October", but the bill date is 3rd October, so only 8 days lead time. I thought there…
