BT line rental

I'm currently with BT for my phone and broadband. My contract ends next month, but I've paid line rental until May 2014.

BT will not offer me a good renewal deal, but looking at other providers they all seem to include their own line rental.

Are there any providers who offer a good phone/broadband deal, but who do not insist that you use their line rental?

Thanks

If you don't use their line rental, then how can an isp offer a "good phone/broadband deal"?

Only your minimum term ends, not your contract. Everything will continue as before.

See out your line prepayment, and instead of renewing, move everything.

Quentin-ops I hadn't thought of that, I was just looking at it from the broadband side.
Buzby- my current bt deal has quiet a few discounts in it, I'm not sure if they will continue with the discounts when the contract runs out.

Nothing 'runs out'. If you are getting a deal, it will usually be fixed unless it was a duration-specific offer (your prepay line rental is one of those). Before any advice makes sense, you need to quantify what your costs are now, and after the end of your minimum term.

If you don't know - ask them.

Only if you get comms service from the same provider as BB will you get the multiplay discounts needed to make it financially worthwhile.
